Hi Everyone,

I am new to the site and not a collector.

My sister has a piece of card with George Harrison and Ringo Starr autographs on that she personally obtained circa 1963 in Stoke-on-Trent, England where the Beatles were touring.

I am looking to sell it for her but have only been able to obtain one quote from a dealer in the UK.

Does anyone have any idea what this is worth ? I could try eBay, but would be good to have a 'ballpark' figure to work with.

Thanks for any advice

You'd need to show the item for an estimate. Eye appeal, condition, contrast - very important factors.

Give us a look...

Thanks very much for your replies.

Hope you can see the card with the autographs on.

"...Eye appeal, condition, contrast..." All three.

I'm assuming the dimensions are a bit less than 8cm x 8cm (or 3 inches x 3 inches)?  The good: Authentic Autographs, nice contrast. The Cons: It's a bit smaller than most autographed pages, some dirt, minor scratches, and someone else has written "Beatles."   Private sale estimate: $1000-$1200 -- maybe more at auction but then you have to factor in the buyer/seller commissions which can be as high as 40-45% of the total.

Thanks Bruce. Thats very interesting and helpful.

Doubt I will go the auction route because as you say, its a high commission fee.

The actual size of the card is 3 inches x 3 inches.

Look good

Thanks ...

You have a my request of friend. Do you want sell it? Contact me. Thanks.

He just asked - why not let Martin get some more of an idea. :)

between £750-£850 imo, maybe a little more . You want in any case to get your sister to write down how she met them etc.  I think its quite a nice stylish piece
