Hello,

I  bought this a few days ago in an auction.

It is an full color intact pull-out photo included in an 1964 UK-magazine called „Scream“.

I‘m very interested to know what you think about it, thank you.

It being for the benefit of Mr. Kite, I agree he should do that.

Perhaps there will be a show tonight on trampoline!

Yes, I did write a LOA for the Beatles signed album that's discussed above. The LOA was written after the GHRR auction; meaning after the autographs were already authenticated by REAL and JSA.

Was it sold through GHRR? Did it not meet the reserve?

This is one of the best threads I've read  regarding an extremely important , albeit scary scenario regarding some super clean , fresh to market Beatle autographs ... and it's all very fascinating an informative. According to my Sold Albums folder, the WTB album SOLD originally via GHRR in Jan 2022 at 29k , then again at Iconic for 55k+  Jan 2024 with 16 bids.

Ah, thank you for the info. I found the GHRR auction listing.

"Nicest in existence," Ed Kosinski says. Then why did it sell for $29,000?

Here is Alexander's site:

Thanks a lot, I contacted him via his homepage.

I‘m very thankful that Alexander answered very quick and here is a part of his assessment:

„GHRR is a great auctioneer, and the autographs are authenticated by Roger Epperson (probably the world's finest expert in music autographs), and JSA (one of the world's greatest third-party authenticators of autographs). That alone, is very good.
And let's face it, that autographs looks good on a first glance. IF these are forgeries, then they are extremely good forgeries.“

That reply appears meaningless to me. "IF these are forgeries, then they are extremely good forgeries." - I cant believe I just read that.

Did you send Mr. Bitar a link to this thread and the concerns expressed and detailed here?
