Hello folks

I would be grateful to know what you think of the Beatles signed programme plus a signed copy of Grapefruit by John & Yoko. Many thanks

I wasn't totally sure myself on both.

The info on the programme is; Autographed tour programme from chris montez tommy roe tour signed on 17th march 1963 at the peterborough embassy theatre

Hi Adam. Thanks for the info, he actually sent me the info through the Beatles Social Network on Facebook. I must ask him for more information and an approximate price, good to have the info here.

Yea, his last name is Diamond I believe?

I just would be weary a bit, even though the programme looks good, but mainly because I am mostly cautious when it comes to big purchases.

Good luck

Thanks Adam, that is indeed his name. Can't say I have the money to buy it but I felt it was good to share these to the community in case they might come up for other people plus I am trying to get better at recognising authentic ones myself and what to look out for. Thanks again.

The signed Grapefruit looks authentic to me. The signed program looks good to me too, but we've seen a few of these with printed signatures.

Hey everybody. Thanks for your replies. The programme is been offered to me by an old Beatles fan, he hasn't given me a price or anything like that but he sent me the photos. Thanks for the advice.

He just sent me a better photo and letter for the programme.

Nice! Looks like the white arround sigs is just reflections in the wrinkles in the photo. New photos better!

He is looking for around £4500 for the beatles set.

i think that is a great price for it , - I owuld have thought it was worth a lot more but it is very nerve wracking contemplating spending such a hugh amount of money

You'd probably pay more at auction with all the extras and you'd certainly pay more from one of the bigger dealers but the pen skipping would bother me at that kind of price. I'm probably too fussy.

I would think that, that price is at the top end based on condition and ink lay down.  I would check Frank's and Tracks inventory to see if there are any comparable items up for sale. Might be better items available or you might be able to negotiate a better deal based on what is available.

Frank has this one for $18,500. However he can be a tad over zealous on price, but you of course get his blessing. I am fairly positive the one you posted (original topic) is the one being offered by George Diamond. He posted it a few times and took it down. The last post I found in The Beatles group was saying message me if interested. I would just be weary. While I still think it may be authentic, at this point with vintage signatures...I would want further opinions from top level authenticators in hand.
