I never heard of this auction house. No relation to Beckett card company and authentication I presume.

I guess it is the same parent company. I had no idea Beckett did auctions. I thought they were grading and authentication only.

I believe they were dealers and bought out steve to launch authentication

Beckett was never a dealer as far as I know but they've had auctions of one flavor or another for a long time. Mostly in sportscards.

They didn't buy Steve Grad out of anything. They partnered with him to form Beckett Auth. Services.

Beckett has been big in sportscard grading for years. That business is far bigger than the autograph service and probably always will be. Cards are HUGE.

I didn't mean litterly buy out steve but bought  him to launch the gradding service .they usded the pawnstars and his name to launch and expand there bussiness
