eBay seller shadowboundgoons

He consistently has these group signatures, most with the same old paper style.  His work is pretty good, whereas many inexperienced collectors will be fooled.   All forgeries.

This awful seller has also sold Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin forgeries.

How do you know they're forgeries? I purchased a signed cut of Frank Sinatra and sent it to Roger Epperson in Houston and he told me that it looked ok...

Is it possible to show us your Sinatra?

of course..let me know if that's not the right one.

You might want to post it for opinions in a new discussion. Anything from this seller is highly suspect.

I personally suspect this Sinatra. It looks odd to me.

Yeup

That Sinatra ain't kosher at all

So many ways to rip this one apart

Well, as I stated before, Roger Epperson, who is a well respected authenticator of vintage music signatures for the UACC, gave it a 'quick look' as you guys did and believed it to be ok. But now, I have sufficient questions that will prompt me in sending it to him, personally, for a full analysis. I'll let you know the results when I get them back...

Thx all for your opinions; very much appreciated.

Mark

What does your own research tell you? What is your opinion?

Terrific...…...how do you know? Just searching for answers here...

Thx; understandable.

Some of the forgeries I've seen are fairly close copies of authentic examples.

Others are just bad.
