Beware: PSA/DNA Authenticated Paul McCartney “Signed” Silver Certificates On eBay

This item is the subject of a previous discussion. I’m reposting it with a new title as it appears as though it isn’t going to be removed from sale by the eBay seller or from the PSA/DNA authentication database.

Here’s the original signature, which actually appears in the PSA AutographFacts database. It’s clearly the same exact signature in a more complete form.

Note that the OP example is "PSA/DNA certified" and graded by PSA but lacks the "AUTHENTIC AUTO" designation.  Maybe they figured it out after authenticating the other two.  How soon before this one shows up encapsulated by PSA?

I am amazed at how convincing this fake looks, especially if you did not know about the other exact matches. Like how did they change the pen style and get it to be exactly the same? It is like a homemade autopen? Or simply printed from a computer template that was manipulated to look like pen?

They actually authenticated all three. The OP signature was graded, so it shows the grade instead of simply indicating that it’s authentic.

Ouch.
