Please update us. I’m sooo curious as to what was shipped to you guys

Something arrived this morning at my post office at 459am and now says out for delivery at 737am which means they have finished sorting all scannable items. FYI I worked at USPS for 32 years and just retired.

Mine is due to arrive today which is physically impossible.

It's coming from Orem, Utah - even though it was supposed to be UK only.

No, do not accept the package. If you suspect a package is fraudulent, refusing delivery is the safest course of action. Accepting or signing for it can unintentionally entangle you in criminal activity, such as a parcel mule scam or an identity theft scheme.
What to Do
  • Refuse delivery: Tell the courier you do not recognize the parcel and refuse to accept it so it goes back to the sender.
  • Do not open it: If a package is mistakenly left on your doorstep, do not open it. Citizens Advice recommends checking with your household or contacting the retailer if a name is visible.
  • Report unsolicited mail: If the package is addressed to you but you didn't order it (a common "brushing" scam used to post fake reviews), you can report the issue directly to Citizens Advice or use the Action Fraud reporting tool.
  • Watch out for return scams: Do not hand misdelivered parcels to anyone who knocks on your door claiming they dropped it off at the wrong house and want it back. Verify with the delivery company first.
  • Notify your bank: If you are worried the delivery is linked to an unexpected charge, check your bank accounts immediately for any unauthorized activity.

My package has been "DELIVERED". Obviously it's a scam.

Nothing was delivered. Fedex even issued a Residential Delivery receipt.

It looks like a US SCAMMER who might be using local services to send something to himself using faked address details.

See attached.Fedex_Shipping_document.pdf

Additionally - you can't report it to Shopify as undelivered as "the order was created less than 30 days ago"

It’s so annoying, just push it back to your bank, make sure all your details are safe and forget about it.

I am considering contacting Fedex to investigate this scam. We may do it as a joint action if you all receive similar Fedex receipts and it points at a certain address.

It won’t. This will be just be a random tracking number someone has entered into a sketchy site. Nothing to do with them just a random parcel.

Not even that. They buy (real) live parcel tracking numbers. But now they can say to the payment provider it was delivered and cash out then run before they get caught.

As one is unable to report orders earlier than 30 days after the transaction, I've reported this order to shopify via email: phishing@shopify.com   Apparently they review all emails sent to this account.

I suggest you do the same asking them to take down the scammers.

Great idea, what did you put in your email! Or maybe you could copy and paste what you put(leaving out private details)??

Here's the suggested wording to be sent by all victims of this fraud to email: phishing@shopify.com :

Hello Team,

I would like to report a fraudulent store operating through your platform and checkout system.

An order ........ was placed through ................... what appeared to be a legitimate online store using Shop/Shopify checkout. Shortly afterwards, tracking information was provided claiming the item had been shipped and delivered via FedEx. However, the delivery confirmation appears to be fraudulent, and no item has been received.

The concern is that false delivery confirmations may be used to accelerate payouts to fraudulent sellers while making it more difficult for buyers to dispute transactions through their bank or payment provider.

There are also multiple public reports online from other customers describing similar experiences involving the same store. https://live.autographmagazine.com/forum/topics/billie-eilish-signe...

Here's the

  • Order details:
  • Tracking information:
  • Copies of the delivery confirmation:
  • Supporting evidence relating to the suspected fraud:

I would also like to highlight that the current reporting restriction on recent orders up to 30 days appears vulnerable to abuse and may prevent timely reporting of fraudulent activity and allows the scammer to cash out.

Please investigate this matter urgently and advise on the next steps.

Kind regards

Perfectly worded! I will use this too myself, thank you very much
