***URGENT UPDATE
Previous update
Some users have uncovered potential autopen use within Bob Dylan's expensive art prints. Please check your prints if you own one and post a picture on this thread if you have any concerns.

*UPDATE - Let this be a warning to ALL publishers and celebrities in the future. We are sick and tired of these autopen releases. Our community has had enough and absolutely will not stand for this practice to continue any longer!!!
I want to point out that Coles Books needs to be commended. They made sure to look out for their customers and refused to ship these out if they came from the same S&S stock, which they did. It was also an easy process to cancel orders beforehand if you wished. Coles. on behalf of everyone, I want to thank you for having integrity and watching out for all of us.
I can NOT say the same about Premiere Collectibles. They refused to honor cancelation requests until it was known these books were in fact autopenned. They advertise themselves claiming they are collectors themselves. This is not true. They are a retailer first and only care about your money. There have been other autopen incidents where they absolutely refused to accept blame, stating items were real when they were clearly deemed autopen by the community. Be careful with future purchases with Premiere Collectibles.
This email came directly from Jonathan Karp at Simon and Schuster. If anyone still wishes to send him a message, here is his email address as well.

We apologize for the mistake that was made and are offering a full refund of your purchase. Please keep your copy of The Philosophy of Modern Song at no cost. We hope you will enjoy reading it.
Sincerely,
Jonathan Karp

ORIGINAL POST
I am creating this thread as a comprehensive all in 1 link for returns, refunds, chargebacks and claims made regarding the "signed" edition of Bob Dylan - The Philosophy Of Modern Song. Please use this link to email Simon & Schuster, Coles, and Premiere Collectables as 100% proof these were signed using an autopen machine.
I would like to say right off the bat, Coles Books in the UK is handling this professionally and seem to care deeply about their customer base. They have stated that, once they are in hand, If they find evidence of them being autopenned, they will cancel all orders.. Kudos to Coles.. I wish all retailers would follow their lead. If you wish to cancel your order with them immediately instead of waiting, It seems to be an easy process.
This post will be continuously updated with new information over the next few days
Please refer to this article for the time being until more information is added

Here is the post I created a few weeks ago with info regarding the Indigo incident.

So far, there have been a total of 17 confirmed different templates for the autopen machine used for Bob Dylans signature. I am in the process of creating video comparisons for all 17 sets. Please post full page photos of your item as they are delivered to aid in this process
Here are all 17 templates used by Bob Dylan - I am still looking for full page photos for numbers 8,13 and 15 thru 17 but its still best to post whatever you receive
Be aware when checking against your own copy, it has come to light that they are possibly using 1st and last names interchangeably. Bob in #2 matches perfectly with Bob in #13 while Dylan in both are different
14th variation confirmed
15th variation
16th variation - Seems to be almost an exact combination of #11 and #13 with a different vertical line in his "D"
17th variation
Video and photo comparisons created so far

Dolly Parton is also guilty of using multiple autopens in the same fashion with multiple templates over the years but with a slight twist where they manipulate the page as the autopen machine writes her signature. If we are looking to stop all future attempts at autopen usage, she needs to be held accountable just as much as Bob Dylan and S&S. Link to threads below
Here is a great example provided by Eric Keith Longo

I got a call this morning from Castle Fine Art.
They essentially told me everything we already knew, and did flat-out admit that the print I just had delivered was an autopen fake.
I saw their Facebook post about having to turn in the COA, but they actually didn't mention that to me at all on the phone. They said it's complete chaos at their offices right now and that they will be having a huge meeting Monday morning to see how to fix it, and a manager will call me soon. They told me Dylan called the gallery himself moments before the call to me.
They wouldn't confirm anything to me, but stated that most likely I will get a full refund.
This is definitely interesting! I'm appreciative of all the hard work people did to find out about this stuff, otherwise I'd definitely have been ignorant to it.
Interesting, thanks for sharing and glad you got a response. Hope you get refunded ASAP.
Bob called them. well someone dialed it for him. And he got on the phone naturally omg on a Sunday. They’re closed on a Sunday. Not this Sunday apparently.
wtaf was he thinking. He wasn’t thinking. He never does. He thinks about as far as his bum which is behind him.
Based on?
the flourish in the y? Is the only tell tale sign in these letters
but still doesn’t prove it’s female. At all. Males usually make a y with a down stroke. This y is a down stroke and then it does that funky thing.

try that. I’m on a phone and can’t see it all at once to read everything and compare. Maybe you’ll have better luck.
Not sure what my handwriting is considering I can't even read it half the time... my handwriting must be they/them Lol.
InkInvestor, why would you delete your old posts??? You previously said that all crossed Y's were autopen, I posted the example below after comparing his handwriting and matching up good signatures and you switched to saying his slanted style from the autopen books were feminine, now you are saying this style is feminine. I appreciate all of your comments, I love our conversations earlier about secretarials but I don't really see research or proof for how you came to your decisions aside from they look feminine and then not being consistent with the style of his signature you are referring.. and of course there is no proof of all this because you deleted your posts
Just to be clear where I am in my research, Jerry's 2018 script above as well as the example I'm posting here (A signature I feel confident is real, compared to one in the crossed Y style) seem to be good based on authenticating using handwriting from manuscripts and other items in a round about way, as I explained previously even though it has a crossed Y.. so far, the only real questionable signature is his style with the slant used in the autopens. The more vertical signatures seem to be real, but nothing is off the table.
I posted a research paper on how to tell some nuances between the male and female handwriting. I can’t see it all well bc I’m on a phone. Maybe you all can
go back a page maybe
good effort, its very interesting. It may provide some clues as an aid but I doubt it will really get us any closer. I've bookmarked it just in case. This week I'm trying to focus on finding more in-person examples hopefully from this century. I've emailed a few people of interest but no replies yet.
Jason H,
A lot of Dylan albums and a number of Dylan handwritten and signed lyrics have come on the market in the last five years or so. They are reportedly being sold by one of Dylan’s current or former managers. The ones I’ve seen were signed in black fine-point marker. I think those are likely from this century but I don’t know for 100% sure. They all look sit down signed like the art to me.
I first saw them being offered by Nate Sanders, then University Archives, Golden Auctions in the last 6 months, and perhaps RR has sold some, but I haven’t looked for them. A number albums were offered on eBay by Nate, besides his hosted auctions.
