***URGENT UPDATE
Previous update
Some users have uncovered potential autopen use within Bob Dylan's expensive art prints. Please check your prints if you own one and post a picture on this thread if you have any concerns.

*UPDATE - Let this be a warning to ALL publishers and celebrities in the future. We are sick and tired of these autopen releases. Our community has had enough and absolutely will not stand for this practice to continue any longer!!!
I want to point out that Coles Books needs to be commended. They made sure to look out for their customers and refused to ship these out if they came from the same S&S stock, which they did. It was also an easy process to cancel orders beforehand if you wished. Coles. on behalf of everyone, I want to thank you for having integrity and watching out for all of us.
I can NOT say the same about Premiere Collectibles. They refused to honor cancelation requests until it was known these books were in fact autopenned. They advertise themselves claiming they are collectors themselves. This is not true. They are a retailer first and only care about your money. There have been other autopen incidents where they absolutely refused to accept blame, stating items were real when they were clearly deemed autopen by the community. Be careful with future purchases with Premiere Collectibles.
This email came directly from Jonathan Karp at Simon and Schuster. If anyone still wishes to send him a message, here is his email address as well.

We apologize for the mistake that was made and are offering a full refund of your purchase. Please keep your copy of The Philosophy of Modern Song at no cost. We hope you will enjoy reading it.
Sincerely,
Jonathan Karp

ORIGINAL POST
I am creating this thread as a comprehensive all in 1 link for returns, refunds, chargebacks and claims made regarding the "signed" edition of Bob Dylan - The Philosophy Of Modern Song. Please use this link to email Simon & Schuster, Coles, and Premiere Collectables as 100% proof these were signed using an autopen machine.
I would like to say right off the bat, Coles Books in the UK is handling this professionally and seem to care deeply about their customer base. They have stated that, once they are in hand, If they find evidence of them being autopenned, they will cancel all orders.. Kudos to Coles.. I wish all retailers would follow their lead. If you wish to cancel your order with them immediately instead of waiting, It seems to be an easy process.
This post will be continuously updated with new information over the next few days
Please refer to this article for the time being until more information is added

Here is the post I created a few weeks ago with info regarding the Indigo incident.

So far, there have been a total of 17 confirmed different templates for the autopen machine used for Bob Dylans signature. I am in the process of creating video comparisons for all 17 sets. Please post full page photos of your item as they are delivered to aid in this process
Here are all 17 templates used by Bob Dylan - I am still looking for full page photos for numbers 8,13 and 15 thru 17 but its still best to post whatever you receive
Be aware when checking against your own copy, it has come to light that they are possibly using 1st and last names interchangeably. Bob in #2 matches perfectly with Bob in #13 while Dylan in both are different
14th variation confirmed
15th variation
16th variation - Seems to be almost an exact combination of #11 and #13 with a different vertical line in his "D"
17th variation
Video and photo comparisons created so far

Dolly Parton is also guilty of using multiple autopens in the same fashion with multiple templates over the years but with a slight twist where they manipulate the page as the autopen machine writes her signature. If we are looking to stop all future attempts at autopen usage, she needs to be held accountable just as much as Bob Dylan and S&S. Link to threads below
Here is a great example provided by Eric Keith Longo

For anyone monitoring this thread, do not take silence as a form of giving up. I hate giving info if it doesn't relate to facts.. this is way to huge of an issue to ignore.. I guarantee people are working behind the scenes, not just me
Jason, absolutely agree and No criticism of you for the silence. My comment was aimed at Castle who I am continuing to prod! This is one for Steve the administrator for this site . We appear to have lost visibility of anything posted on Wednesday or Thursday . Are these sitting elsewhere ? Someone may have posted a silver bullet and it is not being seen. Thank you
Nothing received by the system Wed-Thu was held back by us or the system, and the links are the same no matter what forum a post is in. Please reupload what's missing.
I believe the signatures pre 2018 are safe. I say this because I have bought one practically every year and all are consistent with each other and the straight up writing and straight down y with no cross . This is also consistent with the LP that he signed 22nd November 2022 for a charity auction. I did not buy anything in 2018 but I bought in 2019 and Asia in 2021. These are outliers- how can a signature change and revert back ?
Compare with My 2017 Lighthouse in Maine which is consistent with all earlier releases. No curly “y” with a cross . There are others on this site who also have concerns about Joshua Tree.
Hi Jane, Thanks for this. I have seen a few others, just like the one you posted, No doubt hand signed, starts off with his normal "vertical" signature but "lan" in Dylan matches up great with a few of the "slanted" style signatures.. I've seen so many examples over the last month and am still looking into everything I can find. If Castle would just release 1 video of Dylan signing, we may be able to confirm suspicions. Im very concerned that this situation is taking them so long to address this further. This is a lot of money at stake. I'm sure they are being extremely careful with how everything they say is handled which is causing some delays. There is just way too much money involved with this for Castle Fine Art, Bob Dylan, and whatever legal team is involve, to sit on their hands hoping this blows over.
I have taken a different approach with my attempt to contact them. I used a fresh email address and stated specifically who I am, full transparency, and that I am collecting evidence to create another post directly concerning Castle Fine Art and these art prints. I told them I plan on posting it at the end of the month or as soon as I have enough evidence to move forward. I've asked them to communicate with Dylan directly and get moving on this. These items are ridiculously priced and Dylan should not be stalling on this. We absolutely need more evidence and clarification so everyone knows exactly what is 100% real or not. I let it be known that I will do everything possible to make sure this situation does not blow over. We will see if this approach gets us anywhere.
I have not heard anything from them, since emailing them were to send the Fedex Package.
Mark
Posting this as a new message as a reminder to keep in contact with Castle Fine Art.. Question the slanted style signature that has become apparent from 2019 until now (slanted to the right), not just in autopen form.. demand a response!! we need more voices Please!!

No worries, I figured you may have had it but just left it off. I know I saw it elsewhere too including in Tom’s recent email.
Had no further contact or update from Castle Galleries since the phone call two weeks ago and the e-mail last Saturday so have now formally submitted a complaint and request for remedy / refund under the terms of the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015. In addition to the uncertainty and questions about the use of Autopen sinvce 2019, Í’ve also added the questions arising around the change in style, slant to the right etc in the complaint letter and covering e-mail. If or when I get any response will give an update.
