Hi, I would appreciate opinions on this Bruce Springsteen signed guitar. It comes with a COA from Autograph Pros, for what it's worth. Thanks in advance for all replies.

Thanks,
Allen

This is a signed pick guard attached to a guitar which is not quite the same a "Springsteen signed guitar"   Signature looks good but be careful about some funny business with transferring signatures from albums or paper to pick guards.

Thanks Bruce. In fact, you had suggested in the thread back in 2014 that the signature on the Springsteen guitar in question may have been transferred onto the pickguard from another source. Thanks for the info.
How does one transfer a signature from one medium to another? I've honestly never heard of this being done.

I think there's a recent McCartney thread about this. Seems like someone mentioned it being discussed in RACC as well, but I could have that wrong.

Thanks for the link. Sounds interesting. I'm looking forward to reading through that thread when I have the chance.
Is that not the same guitar?
The guitars are very similar, but it appears that the area around the "knobs" (Sorry, I don't know the correct term) is lighter on one guitar and darker on the other.
This is the best I could do to compare the images of the two different guitar images. Take into account one is at a slightly different angle and zoomed in a little more. I think they may be the same.

Definitely the same guitar.
Thanks guys, I'm sure you are correct - just another example of my untrained eye.....lol. Another reason I thought they were different is because the seller says he bought his in 2013, and the other one was on Autograph Pros' website in October 2014.
You're right Mr. Steffman. Same guitar.
