Sounds great on paper but this is TSL we are dealing with. They won't answer emails and if they do they will argue they are real. And then if you do get a refund they don't actually ever credit your card which is probably why they don't accept paypal because of all the rulings that would be leveraged against them.

Just an aside regarding Josh Board's mention of Myron Ross and his Heroes And Legends outfit and The Doors SP ("The signatures all looked PERFECT..")   .....

I'm currently doing a signature study on James Dean.  I have now identified at least 6 Dean album pages that came from Myron Ross over the years.   All can pass for real....and have.   In fact, PSA has one on their website's authentic exemplar page that sold through RR at one point!

wow !!!

I remember Myron. I was working with a private group and the FBI tracking and stopping sales of forged Titanic signatures (E.J. Smith, entire signed sheets of the relevant officers or Carpathia signed crew photos/pages etc.)  This was long ago. Each of us had a task - mine was digitally recover previous messages from washed and rewritten postcards created to appear as mailed aboard or signed from Titanic. Another older old-school printer knew every type font ever created and when and so on.

To my eyes, Myron Ross was a cut above a comparative forging hack like Kevin Martin with his level of "skill".  If you can call it that.

Yet, once you see multiple examples of his work on a given name next to one another, they all pretty well look the same.  Just using better materials oftentimes to accomplish them.

Is anyone else still waiting on their signed Santana vinyls?

Has anybody confirmed if these are even Real yet ? I know there was some doubt that these may not be real . They do not compare to my other Santana Signatures IP

As I said earlier in the post, JSA found them inconclusive but leaning towards secretarial.

Thanks Joel , I was wanting to see if anyone else had any more information on these or confirmed proof of not authentic

Vinyl looks better than CD. CD TBD.

What is our recourse if secretarial?

If deemed secretarial, TSL will have a TON of people to deal with and I believe they will be forced to take action so I wouldn't worry about it too much.

On the other side of this, I've been studying his signature a bit this weekend off and on. For sure not an expert with Santana at this point. I just don't have the resources for 100% known items signed by him (pictures proving items were signed in his presence) I do however have a ton of already authenticated items to compare to. Are they truly authentic? Who knows.. TPAs all have their problems and Santana could have had someone else signing his stuff for years while fooling everyone.

That said, based on previous releases and items authenticated by TPAs in the past, I believe in a few weeks, you will see these start to pass authentication. There are a lot of similarities with these cds compared to previous releases and TPA authenticated items.

If they start passing, do you trust their opinion? Thats another story. Ill continue to try to find sources to compare to. The best true examples I have so far would be from his known book tour about 10 years ago. We've had a crazy Easter weekend and I've been pretty distracted but those book examples seem to have consistent traits to these signed CDs. The pressure and "flow" do seem a bit different but that can happen between sit down events spanning over a decade. The angles and certain features do seem to be consistent but its still early and I want to look more at these during the week with a clear head.. My gut feeling as it stands right now is I believe these will end up authentic, at least in the eyes of TPAs. Joel's cd also may have been inconclusive because its a bit different? Just know with this info, I'm still very far from being an expert on Santana. At this point, you shouldn't trust my opinion. Do your own research. I don't know Santanas current signing habits or how his signature has evolved over the years. I only have about 2 hours of combined research under my belt so far.
