Charlton Heston Secretarial Signature Study

At Steve Cyrkin's invitation, I'd like to call your attention to a signature study I've posted on my blog, Charlton Heston signature study by Steve Zarelli.
I believe I have identified the "tell" in Charlton Heston secretarial signatures, and if I am correct, the news is not good for most collectors. It appears that most Heston signed photos are secretarially signed.
Here is a synopsis:
The Theory
Photographs and other memorabilia sent to Mr. Heston's office were signed by a secretary. However, Mr. Heston did authentically sign books through-the-mail.
Real vs. Secretary
In authentic signatures, the R in "Charlton" is distinctly a lowercase "r" and less than half the height of the L. The first four letters are clearly "Char."
In secretarial signatures, the R looks much more like a lowercase "l" and is about the same height as the L. So, the first four letters appear to be "Chall."

I'd love to hear your feedback and thoughts on this. I fully anticipate some resistance to the theory, because denial is always the first step. In fact, I would love to be proved wrong, because that would mean I wasn't sitting on a bunch of secretary signed photos!

Mr. Ramseier, I have read IsItReal for years. Good work! I can't imagine dealers in the US turning a blind eye to this study and claiming ignorance.

We are now 1o days into this study, but one of the biggest players in the industry
PSA/DNA , has not responded to repeated requests to explain how they continue to do the following when authenticating Charlton Heston Signatures:

Back in 1999 I sent a Ben Hur album to him to be signed and received this back about 3 months later....what do you think of it? It's signed in gold paint pen.

what's interesting is how TTM photos seem to go one direction (as they would be the more plentiful of items) while books, albums seem to have authentic signatures in many cases. No "dbl L" brand and the Heston part seems clean. Rolf your 2 cents on the latter.

while the picture displayed looks fine from what I see - I always wonder about the "real deal" and as Mike A., commented about tis why I always post a "watermark" something across the picture to ensure they don't turn up where they don't belong. Some of these signings spring up faster than wildflowers after a spring rain.

I don't recall saying that, but if you find it let me know. I respect JR immensely, but I think that 99.9% accuracy is far beyond the capabilities of mere mortals. Give an expert 1,000 autographs to authenticate and if they just missed 25 I'd consider them a god.
As for posting mistakes, PSA/DNA has authenticated over 2 million autographs, so I imagine you can find enough mistakes to keep you busy for a long time. But why?
If you want to do that, what would be meaningful is comparing the accuracy of all authenticators: PSA/DNA, JSA, Morales, STAT, REAL, AAU, ACE, PAAS, GAI. That would be a service to fans and collectors.
Let's focus on doing more signature studies, like Zipper has. They increase knowledge and awareness in the hobby, and they're challenging and fascinating.
