I found this supposed Chris Farley autograph. I was wondering whether or not it is authentic. Look forward to all opinions.

Thanks, Ryan

Personally (and now having gone through the process of selling one), I probably wouldn't buy one again unless it was closer to a full name written and had Beckett certification. There's just too many fakes out there.

Yep. short sig on an index card can be faked in a minute.. its been years since I researched Farley but this doesn't look right to me at all

This was sold in 2004 for $690

supposedly this contract was signed in 1997 and is PSA authenticated

Here's one I picked up many years ago. I was hesitant back then because of the h in Chris. Never seen one so loopy but I've seen many authenticated versions that match up over the years aside from the h so I feel comfortable with it

Authenticated example

This is mine (bought before he passed away) It has qualities of the OP and the authenticated example. I've always been curious about it.

I think yours is FAR from OPs and looks more typical

I take it that's a good thing?

If you are looking for a 100% certain answer, it would take a lot more research. Index cards signed in marker can be tough to be certain about in general.. I am not one to pass judgement quick on SNL items unless I'm absolutely sure. I take them seriously. It does have potential Chris had a range of styles, from neat to sloppy, speed variations... again its been a few years since I've been immersed in Farley signatures but usually the authentic ones stick out instantly. I trust yours WAY more than I do OPs and thats really all I can say

That's all I can hope for! I've been looking for definite info on this one for years!
