Hey folks,

I have this spoon here bought for a friend for $40 - there is one other known. Perhaps $500? Elkington by Elkington, top quality, hallmarked 1913 at Birmingham...sold on Maiden Voyage 1914 - with WW1 in 1915 there were only three times you could buy this - so very rare. In 1913 you could order tomato bisque.

My Mom and I  just had Campbell's tomato soup with this spoon. For a moment...;)

Very cool, Eric!

Very interesting!

Not the kind of thing that I collect, but I get it. Something very cool and fascinating about memorabilia that brings you back in time.

Just think what it was like on a cruise line back at that time. Elegant, Refined and classy. A far cry from the carnival cruise Frat parties of today. LOL
