Very new to the autograph collecting and im pretty sure I fall in the category or the uneducated retards that leap before they look. I think I know the answer about the Mantle autograph by looking around the I-net, but what about the others. I have two dimaggio autos and both have different "D"s So either one is fake or both. I'll post the other Dimaggio leter. These were purchase from a local auction that claim they were real. Both have COAs but not from a reputable name based on my reseach.
Also I've looked for a few hours on the I-net trying to find a good site dedicated to fakes. Is there a site or a source that I can go to that will actually show you the difference in the fake and real autos? Or is it just a matter of finding pics of the PSA/DNA authenticated autos and compare?
Thanks for looking.

Hello and welcome. You are not alone. All collectors are burned at one time or another. I have been burned by three fake Mantles, but it inspired me to really study the signature and learn it. Now I can comfortably buy great signatures and don't have to worry if it has PSA or JSA. :-)
Unfortunately I agree with CEE GEE... these are not authentic.
One thing to bear in mind is that forgers "learn" signatures. It doesn't come to them naturally like signing your own name. When you "learn" a signature, you do it almost exactly the same every time. It doesn't have the natural variation your own signature may have. So, it easily becomes possible to identify forger's work because all their signatures look unnaturally similar.
The Mantle has an overly dramatic first M and you can tell it is slowly done. It doesn't have the fast flow of a real Mantle signature. The real Mick would sign so quickly his signature often had streak lines. On this example you can tell it was done slowly and you can see where the pen almost stopped in places it shouldn't. This forgery style is often accompanied by a COA from Nicholas Burczyk, Chris Morales or AAU (Drew Max). They have flooded the market with these.
The Williams probably comes from the same source and you see the same rancid COAs with this fake style. What is quite pronounced in this fake style is the "illiams" is always MUCH lower than the W.
Look at this piece of crap on Ebay listed by seller "313jaybird1219."
