This signed photograph is being offered for sale by a company that appears to have an OUTSTANDING reputation in the industry. I do not say that lightly. I've yet to hear/see anybody say/write a bad word about the products this person sells. Indeed; I've personally never once questioned any of his merchandise--until I came across this image of Williams, Dimaggio and Ali.
I know absolutely nothing about Ali autographs, but I've been studying signatures of Ted Williams and Joe Dimaggio for thirty years and I've yet to encounter signatures that looked quite like these. Anybody care to weigh in? Anybody ever witness these men sign their names in this fashion?

I would not say these are typical Dimaggio or Williams signatures, but I have seen authentic "sloppy" Joe D signatures like this, and it does have the positive characteristics I look for. Williams on photos is tougher, I am not convinced it is authentic but I would not necessarily rule it out.
This appears to be signed in paint pen, not gold sharpie, so that may account for the slower, more deliberate look. Those older paint pens were not easy sometimes.
I am leaning okay on the DiMaggio and Williams. No comment either way on Ali as it's a signature I am not as familiar with.
That said, I could see how these may raise eyebrows and be a question mark in some minds. If you are looking for slam dunk no-doubters, look elsewhere.
And on an aesthetic note, I do not care for old age photos of sports figures and to me they are worth far less than playing days poses.
The Joe D. is authentic.
In my opinion the Ali signature is not typical of what I normally see.
