Hi-

First off, I'd like to give a must-deserved shout-out to all those who have weighed in on my authenticity postings thus far. You've all managed to help me immensely in weeding out the fakes in my collection. As a result, I've learned so much and I thank you. Especially James, who has helped me greatly with my Madonna-related pursuits.

Here's yet two more Madonna signed photos in question. Pic #1 is followed by a similar signature ov the same image (pic #2) that was deemed most likely authentic here on Autograph Magazine Live. Any opinions on it's possible authenticity will be greatly appreciated.

No from me.

Thanks for weighing in but is your response to BOTH pic #1 and #2, or one in particular?

The first two that you have pictured are authentic, but the last one is not. But just be careful that they are not high-tech copies.

Thanks James. I purchased the first (black sharpie). The "M" formation looks similar to early 80's examples I've researched. I am not the owner of Pic #2, but I've included here as an example of a style I'm more accustomed to seeing. I find this one slightly more pleasing to the eye, but for the life of me I can never identify the first letter as an "M" no matter how many examples I look at (lol). And where's the "a"?

Hello,

Is it an unusual "M" or a missing "a" in the second example? Other examples show the fourth loop does not serve as the "a", so where is it? Agree w James - be careful here.

There are two threads about the same pics? Maybe delete the other? I responded to the other some time ago with my "a" concern, and then saw this thread and thought I'd lost in completely.

The essential structure of the "M" is the same in both FWIW. Sort of like 2/3 of a Garland 1950's "M".

Eric

PS - What did you think of my Bowie?
