As we all know one of the biggest scams on EBay is for sellers to use a copied/edited old Scoreboard COA to list and sell their forgeries.

Sometimes they actually use an original Scoreboard cert to list and sell their forgeries.

This is an easy scam to perpetuate, because one, over 80% of the people who buy autographs do not know autographs; and two, those same people buy the COA and not the autograph, and the perfect place for this scam is EBay.

With Ebay heavily-populated with delusional autograph collectors and impulse buyers, selling forgeries on EBay is actually easier than selling authentic autographs; primarily because the forged crap sells for less.

It sells for cheap because real autograph collectors don't buy crap like the forged Mantle baseball below.

If the "Scoreboard Mantle" listed by Ebay seller 9463beerman was authentic, collectors like myself and others would be all over it already.

It's a typical and mass-produced Mantle forgery from the 1990's.

Obvious and laughable.
