Ebay seller: king.benny

I probably shouldn't waste anyone's time with this one . . . but does anyone have any opinions about what's for sale from this seller?  A moderate sized selection of music items, all with low, low minimum bids.

I took a look at the Guns N' Roses item, and the big thing that struck me was the supposed date the (incredibly nice) autographs were acquired.  Supposedly the autographs were acquired backstage at Dublin's O2 arena on Sept. 1, 2010.  That's an odd proclamation, as that is a show that went notoriously BAD.  The band showed up hours late and actually left the stage early in the performance after meeting a hail of bottles and other items thrown on the stage.

The Led Zeppelin autographs are definitely bad, with a similar story. Metallica same. I don't know G&R autographs well enough to comment.

Yeah, I'm not exactly competent on any of the signatures, so I'm not a good judge at all.  However, the red flags are there (odd and unlikely explanations of where obtained, insanely low starting bids, private auctions, etc).

Thanks for the input.  I knew it was way to good to be true (it usually is).

I dont normally call buyers morons, but whoever is bidding on that crap is a total moron. They obviously didnt even try to look at legit GNR examples before bidding. And at 20 dollars right now!! lol. The signatures are so far off its not funny. Almost as bad as kissdestroyer1966's GNR items. I certainly hope the bidders are first time autograph buyers and are very inexperienced. Because that poster is just god awful. Just unbelievable that anyone would bid!! Great catch Darren.

This seller has previosly sold his crap over and over again under different alias. The first time I saw him were 2008, don´t know if he were active before that. I´m prettys sure that he has sold thousands of these fakes...

His name is Jonathan Gardner from Manchester, UK. His mail is kingbennyest@gmail.com and on ebay he has called himself:

"king.benny","whole.lotta.love", "i_got_it_signed", "Thomedgardner", "under.the.sheet", "oscillatewidly12", "the.last.stand" and "back.to.black".

I love it.  Terrible signatures aside, I originally posted this months ago.  Kind Benny has decidedly sold more than one of these.   Just how many posters did the entire band nicely sign after their disastrous O2 show in Dublin?  They get bottled off the stage, but still sign a bunch of stuff for King Benny?  What great guys!

That is pretty funny if it werent for the crazies bidding on it. I mean Wow.

AS if the signatures didnt look way off, you can clearly see that the E in the Cantrell autograph and the E in the bottom right autograph were penned by the exact same person. And it was no one in the band.  I mean good grief. Maybe Shill Bidding is going on here, b/c i cant imagine people being this naive or stupid. But i get surprised all the time so who knows.

What a disaster. This seller needs taken care of!!

currently in a chat with ebay to get him removed, gave him link to here, gave them his previous aliases, all sorts of proof, yet they don't want to know.

The guy said he'd send it to there specialist team, told him the auctions are starting to end but he said they will sort it swiftly.

Ebay are fcukin useless, makes my blood boil
