Ebay Seller mikeylikey4 Sells Forged Signed Mickey Mantle Joe DiMaggio Ted Williams Photo COA GFA Rocchi

First, immediately below are links to previous threads on Guaranteed Forensic Authenticators (GFA and Stephen Rocchi).

Since Sept. 2011 when GFA first opened up, I have yet to observe one authentic autograph with their COA.

From my observations, the majority of pieces "authenticated" by GFA, are mass-produced, machine-penned (copies) photos.

Let's check out the below forged Mickey Mantle, Ted Williams and Joe DiMaggio photo with a worthless COA from GFA.

This is a typical mass-produced piece made in Florida.

Again, not hand-penned, but a copy (machine-produced).

The below set of forgeries were sold by Ebay seller mikeylikey4 for $299.99.

This is how AtAuction.com sold them--Matted and framed.

They did that to deter buyers from submitting them to a legitimate TPA.

We call these lipstick on a pig, and someone wasted $299.99 on this crap.

But garbage like this sells on Ebay because Ebay is so heavily-populated with impulse buyers and delusional autograph collectors.

I have no sympathy for the people who buy this crap.

I will continue to expose this garbage which continues to infect our autograph hobby!!!

JSA recently tweeted that this DiMaggio / Mantle / Williams pose fails 90% of the time.

I don't think authentic examples are actually "rare," it just goes to show you how many fakes there are relative to authentic.

Stephen Rocchi and GFA "authenicated" hundreds trio-signed (Mantle, Williams, DiMaggio) forgeries all produced on inkjet-paper.
