If that was an authentic autographed Mickey Mantle baseball with the inscription "The Commerce Comet" on a Budig baseball, it would have easily sold for over $5,000.00 and collectors of authentic autographs would have bid this up to at least $5,000.00 or more.

I know two dozen collectors, and myself, who would have bid on it if it was authentic.

But because Ebay is heavily-populated with delusional autograph collectors and impulse buyers, crap like this will continue to sell as it has for the last twenty years on Ebay.
