Fake MJ / Freddie Mercury signed photo sold for $297

Talk about throwing away almost $300.  That’s sad that someone actually thinks the could get a Michael Jackson / Freddie Mercury dual-signed photo for a mere $297.

And this pathetic ebay seller powerq22 has a stocked inventory of fakes.  He’s even got an opening bid on a David Bowie for less than $25!

I half expected to open this and see one of Erick's MJ/Mercury forgeries.  This looks like an MJ style that ran through the Charity scammers a few yrs back... wonder if this account is associated with Anthony Nurse who was involved in all that.

I thought the same thing. The Freddie looks like a familiar fake as well. Can't remember what site I've seen this forger's work on, though. Still a very poor attempt either way.

Maybe iOffer back in the day?  - I actually tried to look up ioffer autographs and cannot pull anything up that is autographed on  their site (or a rare one not listed as an autograph)... wonder if they had enough of the forgeries?

Never mind I just saw their "script" on their eBay account, awful in spelling/punctuation/sentence formation, which actually reminds me of this guy, who wrote similarly.  https://live.autographmagazine.com/forum/topics/michael-jackson-14

Lol.

Oh, yeah...I remember that Anthony Nurse guy.  Such a charitable man he is!  I’m not saying this is associated with him, but I definitely recall that guy.

Look at the M's!!! Aside from the lead in on the Mercury, they are identically formed!!

Good catch!
