First, take a look at this pathetic, poorly executed, slowly drawn forgery.  ANYBODY would be able to determine that this is not worth the ink used to write it.  But lo and behold, some poor slob spent $157.00 on this pearl.

Why?  Because they believe the lies and nonsense represented by this Florida seller (it seems most of the Kool-Aid drinking, or more likely, complicit Ebay sellers of this crap are based in southern Florida)

Take a look at the listing below.  The seller spends the entire description talking about the certification process.  Why?  because its the only way they will be able to sell this junk.  If true collectors believed this pack of lies, then that ball would have commanded more than the final $157.50 sell price.

 Guaranteed Forensic Authenticators (GFA)

Guaranteed Forensic Authenticators (GFA) was founded by Stephen Rocchi in 2011

GFA is responsible for dramatic improvements throughout the autograph industry which will forever change the way real autographs are bought and sold. In addition to raising the level of examination and creating a scientific forensic examination on signatures, GFA has in place a cash-back authentication guarantee, on every autograph authenticated by GFA. All autographs forensically authenticated by GFA are guaranteed to be genuine.

In 1991 Stephen Rocchi recognized that the sports memorabilia market demanded proof that the cards and autographs being bought and sold were genuine. The advent of the third-party authentication of sports card’s and autographs was formed when Professional Sports Authenticators (PSA) opened its doors in June of 1991.

Stephen Rocchi is the founder and former President of PSA. Stephen is also the former President, CEO and Founder of Global Authentication.  Stephen Rocchi was responsible for hiring JSA authenticator Jimmy Spence also a former PSA authenticator. Stephen Rocchi has been instrumental in bringing the three largest authentication companies into the sports world, PSA/DNA, JSA and Global Authentication. His credentials are impeccable

GFA Is the only 3rd party authentication company that offers a real guarantee to their certification

In the event the purchaser of a GFA authenticated signature believes that the signature is not genuine with respect to GFA standards and procedures, he/she may submit the signature through the GFA “Guarantee Resubmission” service and GFA will submit the signature to an authorized 3rd party forensic authenticator for additional examination.

If authenticity is determined under such “Guarantee Resubmission” procedures to be found non-authentic, GFA shall pay the purchase price for the autograph in question or at the owner of the signature’s option to replace the signature with a GFA authenticated signature of the original signer of similar item and value.  GFA will also refund the re-authentication fee and postage and insurance costs incurred by the signature owner in sending the signature to GFA. It is understood that GFA will replace the signature or refund the purchase price after reexamination and a verifiable receipt of price paid is supplied to GFA.

The task of forensic document examination is to answer questions about a document using a specific scientific processes and methods. Many examinations involve a comparison of the questioned document, or components of the document, to a set of known standards. The most common type of examination involves handwriting where in the examiner tries to determine the authenticity of a signature.

One task of a forensic document examiner is to determine if an item originated from the original signer. Forensics include determining what has happened to a document, determining when a document was produced, or deciphering information on the document that has been obscured, obliterated or erased.

A forensic document examiner deals with items to determine authentication before a court of law:

Handwriting (cursive / printing) and Signatures
Typewriters, Photocopiers, Laser printers, Fax machines
Chequewriters, Rubber stamps, Price markers, Label makers
    Printing Processes
    Ink, Pencil, Paper
    Alterations, additions, erasures, obliterations
    Sequence of Strokes
    Physical Matching"

That piece-of-crap Joe DiMaggio forgery with the worthless COA from GFA (Stephen Rocchi and Guaranteed Fake Autographs) was sold by Ebay seller Siesta_key for a whopping $157.50.

There is a ton of GFA-certed forgeries with sellers from the state of Florida.

Click your mouse on the bellow image to get a closer view.

Interesting how Ebay sellers of GFA-authenticated (Stephen Rocchi) forgeries always use the below image to "prove" that Rocchi knows autographs.

Notice how they only show the bottom half of that image.

Here is the full image.  It is an "In The Presence" COA.

No one has ever proven that Rocchi ever "authenticated" autographs for PSA (he was a card-grader).

Every day we see hundreds of laughable and obvious Mickey Mantle, Joe DiMaggio, Ted Williams, Willie Mays, Sandy Koufax, etc. forgeries on Ebay with worthless COAs from Stephen Rocchi and his Guaranteed Forensic Authenticators (GFA) group.

EBay has profited big-time from the sales of GFA-certed forgeries.

It's what I call the ultimate Forensic Scam.

What makes them forgories I bought some from a few different places honestly I thought it was traced but I'm new to buying them luckily I read this and signed up before I got carried away thanks.

Joshua, what makes you think they're authentic?

I'm curious.
