Opinions please. Found at Goodwill.  I don't think it's real.  Probably a gag gift to this person.

I thought I would ask here just to confirm.

Thanks for looking

Here is a book signed to Maritime Historian Frank O. Braynard from Ford thanking him for his help with Operation Sail, thanking for supervising vessels during the International Naval Review in New York Harbor on July 4, 1976. I don't believe the OP authentic.

Thank you.  Appreciate  you responding

Maybe Chevy Chase signed that for him? 🤔

LOL I am old enough to remember the first SNLs

Remember the one where they coaxed Paul McCartney to down from his hotel? I loved those originals. Garrett Morris was a very funny man!

Still is. Im a huge SNL fan and my wife couldn't care less when I met her. I got her to like the "players" in different ways. Garrett had a small role on 2 broke girls which she absolutely loves. Over time, I was able to get her familiarized with all the cast members throughout SNLs history. Now, she doesn't mind watching reruns at all. It took a big effort.. SNL still has its moments but I've been disappointed over the last few years. As much as I love SNL, its increasingly harder and harder to watch these days

I am a fan of the early SNLs  for sure.  The current ones just are not that funny.

How did this turn into an SNL thread?  🤔

In any case, the OP's book is fake for sure.

Back to SNL, I got this TTM last year.  I sure hope it's real.

I very much appreciate this particular piece.  It's an original copy of Mr. Ford's hometown newspaper from '74.  A real piece of history!

Very nice example.
