GOTTA HAVE ROCK AND ROLL AUCTION?? DO THEY USE AUTHENTICATORS??

It seems like there are many items in this Auction, that just doesn't look Right!! Kind of Vague with their Descriptions and slapping their COA's up, for most items. Anyone have Dealings with this Outfit??

I don’t know the extent to which they use authenticators, but the signed material is indeed a mixed bag. That said, they have offered a number of exceptional items in their auctions.

yes

and they had the john breenan collection before he moved to rr auctions

and they deal with others

also a large part of there stuff comes directly from people who wirked with the artists or the actual industry.

they just won the Madonna lawsuit

theve been in business over 20 years with a store on 57 th st in nyc

How can you determine which items were approved by a TPA if they only come with a Gotta Have It COA?

Same way heritage or bonhams. They do there due diligence and u should do urs. The majors dont use any TPas and disagree with there assessment on itiems all the times

If that's the case, they should have a better track record with their signed material. The same goes for Heritage.

There are basicky only 2 auction houses house that use tpas because they dont have there own experts .most have there own experts in different fields

You have to ask them about specific items - I bought an item that I know to be genuine and received a JSA LOA without it being ever mentioned.

I would rather own something that has a coa from heritage bonhams Sotheby's  than any tpa expect maybe frank. World wide I would be able to sell it for more  and they are recognized as tops so u can a premium and a easy flip

They have some great and unusual material, but do careful research first.

I helped someone get a refund on a Beatles-signed 8x10 they purchased from Juliens and sent to Frank Caiazzo to confirm authenticity. Frank recognized one of the signatures from a single-signed 8x10. The band-signed piece was made from three photos. The consigner was Gotta Have It R&R.

They are definately a mixed bag I once bought a Nirvana used guitar pick a red tortex it just came with a coa of theirs no letter or saying where used in the following few auctions they sold another three or four picks the same picks, same coa ,no info ,very dubious

Yet I have had some good stuff aswell ,just be carefull and dont expect anything more than whats stated
