I assume this is real given its provenance but I thought I would double-check as Noel and Mitch look a touch odd to me. According to the seller they were half asleep at the time. Great piece if real.

I hate when ebay flippers who aren't even fans of bands get rare collectibles releases. They should be going into hands of fans. I'm not talking about Bob but in general more and more people are out to flip. There seems there's more around than ever before on ebay.
The guy said he didn't know who the men were, so wouldn't it be unlikely for someone to need to sign for Mitch at the time? And the writing is so different than Hendrix's that I can't see how he could have signed it. Noel's writing is much closer to Hendrix's.

HI Steve i dont think JImi signed it for him ,but possibly someone in the group who didnt want to wake Mitch, who knows there lots of possibilities Mitch could have signed his name in a completely different style to normal due to being tired as is the suggestion but that opens up a million signatures not right due to tiredeness, drunkness etc

take the Mitch on its and ask for opinions it would be called straight away as not genuine it doesnt make it real just because its sat with two other good ones , i dont know why its been messed with or what the circumstances were at the time because not having a Mitch at all on it wouldnt really change its value it would have still been a great piece with just Jimi and Noel ,its still a nice piece i just didnt like it first time around because of it.. so left it alone

Well spotted Roger and your right mitch looks completely different. I'm surprised Mr Herman didn't notice the Mitch signature being that he owns a few Hendrix experience items.

thanks Paul, your right he has some nice Hendrix items i like the signed Walker brothers flyer but i wouldnt buy it

We need an update of Bob. Where is he sending it to for authentication.
The mitch could have been signed by his girlfriend. It's a thought.

This piece went for close on $18,000 at RR last weekend. Even taking into account premiums, Bob made a buck or two on it.

Everyones out to make a buck. I wouldn't be comfortable buying the piece, for that amount of money id want your typical mitch signatiure.
These prices could be the new norm for Hendrix autographs.
This is the piece I bid on.I think it's great.cant believe the number it fetched.

Wow.  Makes what I have look golden.
