This is nice but I was still surprised to see it make GBP 5,800 (plus ca. 30% premiums etc.) just now. It was sold at a provincial auction house close to where the autograph was obtained (Lincoln, UK). The auctioneer was going up in £50 increments to the end!

Maybe I'm behind the times when it comes to Jimi's prices!

That’s a nice inscription and signature, and the addition of “Experience” definitely adds to its appeal.

Yes, I thought Jimi's writing had excellent eye appeal!

Crazy! Too much.  Total 8000£? A very crazy investment for loose value.

That's about $10,000, which is reasonable for that piece.

Having had a quick look at the top realized prices achieved by RR, I see what you mean Steve. There were also a few nice bits n'pieces (e.g. a set of support band signatures) that came with it, as can be seen from this link.

Personally, I'm not over-keen on the condition of the Jimi, particularly as regards the biro line running through his inscription. Even clever matting couldn't hide that.
