I'd appreciate any and all input regarding this signed still photo of Henry Fonda from 1947's THE LONG NIGHT.  It's vintage fountain pen.  A bit different from some exemplars I've seen...but very close to others....eg. the "H" in "Henry" is somewhat of a variance & "Fonda" is more legible here.  This could be chalked up to him sitting down and carefully inscribing the photo.

It's a shame, that is a superb photo.

Yep. I got really jazzed when I saw it for sale...and then zeroed in more on the writing and I had that sinking feeling.
