Hologram On Photo or Hologram On LOA; That Is The Question.

Alright, I am torn here.

With all of the honest people on eBay (sarcasm much) I am torn when I see a photo with a FULL LOA and it has the hologram on the LOA.  I mean come on, there are so many fakes out there that you could easily switch the photo out and send a fake photo and real LOA.. 

What do you all think?  I hate having the sticker on the photo but having it on the item itself assures me and the public that the photo is the one which was authenticated. 

I sent a Mickey photo off to JSA and got it back and they put the damn hologram on the LOA and not the photo (which I asked them to do). So now I have to send it back for them to correct the mistake.  But the reason for this post, is that I see a lot of nice items on ebay with the photo and hologram on the LOA and I would jump at the item without thinking if the sticker was on the photo, but I hesitate and look for fraud when I see it with the hologram on the LOA.

Opinions?  I know you got some, haha.

I don't want any sticker on my piece of history. God forbid PSA/DNA or JSA ever become as "worthless" of a COA as say, GAI, that sticker will forever taint that piece (and DEVALUE it). Typically the LOA's have a picture printed on them of the item being certified...

Always on the LoA or the back of the item. I've refused to buy plenty of nice items because of ugly stickers on the front.

I guess I should have said that in my post. When I send my photos off, I always ask for the hologram to be put on the BACK of the photo. Just the fact that its on the photo itself seems to make it known that the photo in question is in fact the photo that goes with the LOA.

I had my Rogers Hornsby done by PSA and I had them put the Sticker on the LOA..  it may cost 20 bucks more but well worth the pic they put online of it..  and sticker placement on the LOA..   I don't want those tacky looking stickers on my items.  Its glue one day it will fall of and you will see where that sticker was.
