Let's say that you could only keep three autograph's from your collection, what would you keep and why?

Pretend your in a circumstance where you have to decide, fire, the Mrs or the collection. Only 3.

Three. OK. I'll try. I''ll stick to music for this. The why and then the what. Discussed in the order shown. A bit tough to put Yorke over Smashing Pumpkins...but. That's that. Then Gilmour (not very tough to put Waters over him)...but, three. Also took cost into account, but these are my top 3 artists for the answer to this question Paul posed.

All my among favorite albums and images from each (Waters 1st solo, The Bends!, Bowie's final and largest tour/retrospective, his final live album)

All Official Products (LP, SP (limited edition import CD postcard signed for me 8.16.96), triple gatefold CD) in excellent condition and complete (vinyl, discs & booklets all intact)

All bear signatures contemporary to the items, one dedicated, one inscribed, one dated

Vintage - 1984 Waters, 1996 - Radiohead, recent - Bowie tough 2010 dated signature

Felt tip, Sharpie, Metallic Silver and all signatures in fine condition

Very good/excellent placement and contrast, good ink colors for images

Decent examples of signatures (Yorke very strong)

All three were very good deals...app $120, total

This is something like asking which of your children do you save from a burning building!  OK, I am ready to answer now.  All of these pertain to The Andy Griffith Show:

Autographed Letter Signed on her personal stationary by Frances Bavier ("Aunt Bee") mentioning the Emmy she won for the show.  Her autograph is highly sought after by TAGS collectors.

Autographed Photograph of Howard McNear ("Floyd the Barber") the nicest example of his signature I have seen. He is one of the most popular and the hardest to find of those who were on at least 20 episodes.

Cut signature from a document of Joseph Hamilton who appeared on 11 or so episodes and a Twilight Zone episode.  One of the rarest of the minor characters.  I know of one other signature cut from the document as mine (I did not do the cutting just bought it after the fact), and one guy has an autograph I suspect from a contract.

Prince, Prince and Prince

I did not think to add the autographs so will add two of them now. Need to scan the Frances Bavier yet.  Below is Howard McNear (aka Floyd the Barber) and Joseph H. Hamilton (from The Andy Griffith Show and Twilight Zone):

Fun topic Paul, for me it would have to be:

- Bruce Springsteen signed Born In The USA album
