Here is an interesting Kurt Cobain autograph with the inscription " God Is Gay" that is being offer for sale on the bay. It has been authenticated by JSA.

I like it but this is offer by the same seller who had sold a similar Kurt Cobain autograph with the same inscription that was signed on a notepad back in November 2012. Carl Ryan posted the discussion. Here is a picture of the autograph.

What are the chances that you get your hands on 2 rare similar autographs with 2 similar inscriptions???

The auction is up to $1825.00 with 3 more days to go.

I agree with J.

This is not authentic.

I'm not sure it's fake.  Do you remember Alfie's Autographs ?  He was supposed to be legit and I have seen a few he had gotten which are very similar to this.

I used to check Alfie's site daily- I only ever saw one Nirvana signed photo. And I don't think he got that himself.

I bougjt one of this style you show here and I'm convinced I got burned.

Sorry to hear that.  I don't have a lot of experience with Alfie's but heard he was well known .

Alfie was the bomb. Authentic stuff.

Really ?  So what do you think of the Kurt photo posted by Chad B ?

Its' the same style that Alfie had.

I don't think it's real and I don't remember Alfie ever having a Kurt Cobain like that.
And it's still for sale! Today.

That buyer who paid $5100.00 has been trying to sell it on ebay the past few months. It barely reached 10% of what he paid for.

so do you reckon there was schilling bidding going on originally for it to have reached the $5100 mark?  It seems this new buyer is going to be stuck with it!!!!

I won't be surprised that there were shill bidding by the seller for that auction. It was sold several times and got relisted again and his reasons was non-payment. The person who bought that for $5100.00 have been listed the item on the bay for the past six months. The bids did not even reach close to his reserve. Felt bad for him.

yeah I know what you mean because he purchased it in good faith and it was a heck of a lot of money .  I still remember the ridiculous story about the original owner being given a Beatles sig for mowing the lawn!!

We don't have JSA or PSA over here but can you challenge either of them , by saying that this sig is non authentic or are you not allowed to do that because I assumed that this owner purchased it on the basis that JSA got it right? Do you have a right to appeal to JSA or PSA?  Seems somewhat sad for this present owner if you know what I mean
