Would appreciate getting some feedback on this autograph.

It is said to have been gotten at Rock in Rio in 1985.

Thanks, much appreciated.

It is indeed. Research and self-education in tandem with sites like this can do a lot. But obviously not enough.

yes and it suxs for have really stuff when people offer u 300$ for a 3k autograpgh

because they see all the fake stuff selling for those prices

my rule is never compete with anyone towards price, my price is my price and its stand and ur paying for  getting it by the person who actually got it signed and I give a guarente on it to pass tpas if that's what u want

very richly

So far the two biggest Freddie forgers are out of Spain and Brazil. The Spaniard forger tends to reprint with a machine and the Brazilian does it by hand. Very poorly. The Spaniard one was snooping around this site and got booted twice. I've gotten him pulled from a few places for peddling his crap around.

Freddie is very expensive. He was a generous signer, so there is a fair chance to get genuine items but they don't come cheap. Your best bet when searching to buy a real Freddie (or anyone) is to find a trusted collector with a solid reputation who focuses on that artist and that artist alone. If nothing else, they can offer you a solid opinion on authenticity and value when buying. They know their stuff because they've only focused on the one artist for years. Don't even waste money on TPAs and COAs. A search here will show you a number of times I've corrected them and they've been great at refunding folks. Best advice I can offer. Good luck.

Thanks for the great advice. I would love to own a genuine Freddie.

As Innuendo said, if it seems like too good a deal, then it probably is.  You should be find with ebay, as they almost always side with the buyer, no matter what the issue.  You should contact both paypal and ebay, separately and immediately, even before you receive the item and the funds are released.  They will immediately put a hold on the funds in the seller's account, and then you can sort it out from there, but at least with your funds on hold.

Thank you for the heads up Gratefulphish!

Appreciate it.

You're welcome.  Glad you found your way here.  It will save you a lot of time, heartache and money.
