I came across this signing of The Jimi Hendrix Experience and I'm wondering what everyone's opinion is..
I'm aware that the picture isn't very clear but it's the best I find as the seller isn't responding currently (It's somewhat late in the UK).
I thought that the Noel Redding and Jimi Hendrix autographs don't look too far off the mark however Mitch's looks a bit odd with a double t line (if you can make that out).
Another thing I'm aware of is that the Jimi Hendrix Experience didn't tour Fillmore East it was the Band of Gipsies.. I'm not too sure if the autographs could be real and the story false or visa versa.

I believe that this is just a display piece using a reprint of an authentic set.
Dave,
I was about to post that the Hendrix looks like it's probably real to me, but that I don't know Mitch and Noel enough to comment. Ballroom is very sharp on Hendrix and the Experience autographs. If he says it's probably a display piece, I think you can take that to the bank.
The Band of Gypsys played on 12-31-69. The only other Jimi Hendrix Experience show was on May 10, 1968, so the plaque is bogus at the least. I would bet on Ballroom being right.
definately reprints a guy was trying to sell one of these a while ago on e bay for around £1200 framed with what he said was an original jimi Hendrix drawing /artwork which was also a print he tried to cover himself with the usual story along the line of selling it for my uncle etc
