Had this one checked out by Roger Epperson who said it looks fine . Then it failed a Beckett quick opinion …I’ve previously had one failed by Beckett’s full inspection that Roger has guaranteed is genuine along with many other reliable people .

my question is has anyone else had bad experiences with Buckley and Beckett ?

Obviously I value Roger’s experience and opinion in music over there’s .

Closest I could find was this one .

From what I see, I believe Roger has it correct.

Signatures are situational. Variances occur. Different writing utensils, date when signed, mood, etc. I

I'd want a more typical example.

I agree .

even signing my own I notice it’s different every time . I don’t know what it’s based on but he’s obviously seen something there to make him believe it’s good .

after all , it would have been much easier for him to say it’s not right .

I don't know what the value of a Jeff Buckley signed photo is but, if it's important to you, I would send it to Roger and get his certificate.

Unfortunately due to Covid he’s not accepting anything from overseas at the moment .
I’ll definitely be doing that once the worlds in a better place .

Thank You for your input , very fair.

It can feel as though people are attacking you sometimes with their comments .

They are not attacking you. This is the challenge of a hobby based on opinions. There will always be debate. Buckley did have an unique signing style.

Maybe that was a strong word .

he certainly did , it seems to be such a debatable topic .

I’d rather it were more straight forward but that would be too easy .

Joe W. -  Thank you!  That should be a virtual shingle placed at the top of the "Is this autograph real" section of Autograph Live!

"...I don’t think Eric wants me to have a positive outcome with this one haha ..."

I concur about attacks. What you have said is unkind and unwarranted. Folks here will agree. My only interest is authenticity. I am only using my eyes, not adhering to some weird agenda. I spend most of each and every day here helping folks recoup money spent on forgeries, having forgeries pulled from auctions, reviewing items for auction houses and dealers, helping with authenticity issues and I am a moderator here as well as a specialist with Gleason and Bowie. I hope your item is authentic.

Did he draw his ‘F’s two different ways? The formation of the ones in the OP differs from the other examples in this discussion.
