I am the first to admit that with modern signatures and autopens etc. I am often at a loss. I am much more comfortable with classic stuff. I think this is a book that I got with a couple boxes of history related books a few years ago so the cost was next to nothing. Like the Clinton bookplate I will not be overly disappointed, or resentful if this proves not right. I just want to know so if it is fake I can run a marker through it and give it to Goodwill. Am trying to downsize my books before I get featured on "Hoarders."

Thanks Ian. I like Easton books they are very well made and rock solid as far as being authentic.
Carter can be found cheap for a presidential signature. He has a lot of signed books out there. G W Bush was expensive at first but his latest book makes him affordable now. Obama will probably cash in after his term is over.
I got this Carter completely by accident but I know I bought another book of his and have to find it to get opinions on. I used to collect historical and have Patrick Henry, James Madison, Theodore Roosevelt, Wm H. Taft and his wife on her autobiography, Eisenhower (photos if real not sure about them), Nixon (Easton Book), Jerry Ford letter as Congressman, and I think some more. Always wanted Lincoln but even 40 years ago it was too expensive for me. I stick primarily to classic entertainment now. I have to locate all my old collection of stuff. I think Carter was very accommodating for autographs and more accessible to people than most presidents so more out there.
looks good though I usually see the J connect. but the rest looks spot on the pen probably just stopped early.
