Looking at this Autographed BB on an Auction. Maybe it's me but both the autograph and ball just look TOO clean. Maybe I'm just paranoid! Any opinions on this item would be greatly appreciated. Thanks...
The image IMO has been "adjusted" for optimal appearance with selective focus and lighting - it is "perfect". I think that is what the OP is reacting to.
Then adding in the usual auction terms talk of not being responsible for any written descriptions, quantification or your interpretation of adjectives or any images which some houses state they "adjust" etc. With that knowledge and this presentation it is right to wonder about condition, which is all I was talking about - this image gas been over-groomed IMHO.
I agree with the general concensus of the group. Any opinions about the signature? It comes with a signed (undated) COA from Americana Memorabilia. Found out this company closed it's door a while back.
