This image appears enhanced with Photoshop. Doesn't look good to me - but see what others say.
I see nothing wrong with this signature
The image IMO has been "adjusted" for optimal appearance with selective focus and lighting - it is "perfect". I think that is what the OP is reacting to.
Then adding in the usual auction terms talk of not being responsible for any written descriptions, quantification or your interpretation of adjectives or any images which some houses state they "adjust" etc. With that knowledge and this presentation it is right to wonder about condition, which is all I was talking about - this image gas been over-groomed IMHO.
Sig looks good, but photo has been manipulated. Almost looks like a "portrait" shot from an iphone.
+1 or a wedding photo...very overworked. That last mark on the right should be darker I think.
I agree with the general concensus of the group. Any opinions about the signature? It comes with a signed (undated) COA from Americana Memorabilia. Found out this company closed it's door a while back.
Looks like Joe D's signature to me.
Thanks for everyone's comments. Much appreciated.
FYI... The ball sold for $512.
