John Garcia Jr., blues guitarist, autograph real or fake?

I bought this album from the local record shop here in town  couple of years back.  The owner goes all over buying collections.  I pick up this album and when I get it home I notice the signature on the gatefold.  Initially, I assumed it was probably the previous owner's signature, which is what the record store owner probably thought, too, if he even saw it.  Sometime later I read the credits and realize the signature belongs to the lead guitarist on the album, John Garcia Jr.  You can see his name in the second photo, near the middle.  The autograph is signed in a light grey/silvery pen.  If you angle the album so the glare catches the signature you can see the dent from where the pen road across the paper as it was marked.  The album is stamped on the back with one of those golden promotional only stamps.  I doubt the signature was a promotional stamped thing, but I thought I'd put it out there for scrutiny.  Any idea of value if it is real?  Thanks for taking a look and giving some feedback.
