I've had it all these years mostly sitting in a safety deposit box. It's time to let it go. It's a lot easier selling an autograph with a PSA cert.
I'll upload a pic in a little while. And to your other question, I've had it all these years mostly sitting in a safety deposit box. It's time to let it go. It's a lot easier selling an autograph with a PSA cert.
BTW...scroll down, the red scribble is not it. <grin>
Didn't upload the first time but you should have it now. Hope this helps. I'll send the cert when it comes in.

This is an autograph I obtained from John Lennon in 1975 at WFIL studios in Philadelphia.
I hope I am following this thread correctly. If I understand correctly Tom, you are looking to sell a Lennon autograph (Image Lennon.jpg, 2.2 MB) that you obtained in person in 1975 and will obtain a PSA certificate on it prior to selling.
I am not sure why nobody has offered an opinion on the authenticity of the piece - perhaps because of it's history. To me it looks OK but I do find John's mid/late 70s autographs bafflingly varied. To be honest I cannot even work out which letters he was writing in some cases. With your autograph he appears to have written JoLennon - do others agree or have any general tips on the lettering John used?
I have a few specific questions about your autograph Tom:
1. What is it written on?
2. What is the rough size of the autograph itself?
3. When do you expect to receive the PSA certificate?
4. What kind of money are you looking for?
5. How will you be selling it (ebay?)
"With your autograph he appears to have written JoLennon"
That's typical for the period. The first name is abbreviated, but the letter that appears to be the "E" is actually the "L".
Thank you BallroomDays67!
As BallroomDays67 points out, the signature is typical to the period. Google John Lennon autographs from the mid 70s and you'll find that to be the case. I expect to have the PSA certificate within three weeks.
