John Wayne autograph authenticate from Kenneth Walker "Autographs&More" http://kenneth.flyingcart.com/

Dear Autograph Collector's

One of my personal friends and customer purchased several autograph from the above mentioned seller.

Kenneth Walker "Autographs&More" http://kenneth.flyingcart.com/

Unfortunately those purchased autographs are looking VERY questionable in my opinion and I tried to help him getting a refund

This John Wayne autograph had been sold to him.

Owner Kenneth Walker responsed to our claim (see attachment)

"I  believe the John Wayne autograph is authentic along with all the other autographs that were sold to you.  I compared the John Wayne autograph with the items you sent me as a download and to tell you the truth I see more characteristics that say it is authentic than as you say not authentic.  Take Care and have a great day."

"You had this authenticated from a dealer.  I am a dealer and I am saying these autographs are real.  You can check out my return policy and have the autographs authenticated by a real authenticator and you will see that the autographs are real.  Take Care and have a great day."

With respect to the other dealer we would appreciate further opinions regarding this in our opinon forged John Wayne autograph which maybe help our customer to get his refund.

Enclosed is our first part authentication from the first letters of the John Wayne autograph as attachment.

We ask the autograph community to judge themselve which autograph dealer is reputable and of course ask Mr Walker to join this discussion as well.

kind regards

I couldn´t find a single genuine autograph on his website.

The music autographs are horrific....

The Wayne Gretzky/Mario Lemieux dual-signed photo he is selling is a complete fake.

Markus

As you know I have been collecting John Wayne Autigraphs for over 30 years.

The above signature without a doubt is a forged Wayne Signature.

Every one of the Exemplars you have included in the letter to the dealer are indeed

authentic exemplars of John Wayne's Signature.

I have many more authentic Exemplars we could post here, but they would just match the ones you have already posted in regards to charecteristics etc.

I think the dealers response  to your excellant examples of authentic Wayne signatures is unbelievable.

You my friend, are one of the most reputable dealers out there, and I offer you and your friend whatever other help I can give both of you.

Just let me know

Bob Shinn

BTW

Clint Eastwood, Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley and another John Wayne Post Card ALL

In My Humble Opinion not Authentic

Dear Bob

Thank you very much for your confirmation and I really try to help a friend and new premium autograph enthusiast. As the dealer refused to accept the return of the forgeries for a refund privatly and did not trust or believe on our authentication statement we see the only opportunity to share this with the autograph community to avoid further new collector's to buy from this source who do not stand behind his products. To be honest I could no find any autograph on his website which I trust and the prices should already alert serious autograph collector's but unfortunately still many just looking for the big bargain although they better write the celebrity names themselves instead of support such a fraud.

Hope many autograph collector's see this threat and help me with further opinions so hopefully the seller accept a refund because of many negative third party opinions not coming from a so called competitor dealer.....

Markus

Anything I can ever do for you, just let me know.

I think Christopher Williams and Richard Simon should take a look at this dealers Sports Offerings and let us know what they think

http://kenneth.flyingcart.com

The John Wayne is an obvious forgery. I looked at the Historic, Celebrity (includes Music) and Yankees autograph categories, and I didn't see one that I thought was genuine.

The Mantles and DiMaggios are the forgeries we commonly see, with COAs from Nicholas Burszyk, My Favorite Players, Scoreboard and B&J Collectibles.

And of course, in most cases the prices are ridiculously cheap. $375 for JFK...$125 for Paul McCartney...$50 for Derek Jeter.

Then they have a guarantee that requires a determination of authenticity by a "certified and court qualified forensic handwriting examiner," which is a big red flag that the dealer is selling forgeries:

"If any autographed item we sell is ever found not to be authentic by a certified and court qualified forensic handwriting examiner, we will gladly refund the purchase price. I will promptly refund your money if you return the item, along with the original paperwork and a letter from a certified and court qualified forensic handwriting examiner stating that the item purchased is not authentic. The inspection of the item must be done in person and not evaluated using the internet or scans or photos. It can not be a standard rejection form letter used by dealers for items you are attempting to sell to them. The certified and court qualified authenticator will evaluate the autograph using standard nondestructive techniques of forensic document examination which include a macroscopic evaluation with calipers, protractors, photocopies and their enlargements, along with computer enhancements and computer enlargements. You will pay the authenticator for his services. This guarantee is good forever."

I'm very sorry your friend has been burned, and we'll do all we can to help. But I'm thankful that you told us about this dealer so that other collectors will know to avoid him.

Steve..

Do you think as a group we can get this website shut down?

Chris  Williams and yourself feel most of the Sports Items are forgerys

I see the same in the Celebrity area.

Could we gather enogh evidence so maybe we could contact the FBI Office in Philadelphia

and let them know that this fraudulent material is being sold.

Just a question as I don't know if the  FBI is still looking at all  the  fraud in this industry

Bob,

It's a good thought. But law enforcement usually needs victims to come forward, and if the dealer gives a refund, the buyer's not a good victim. So I think we should pursue it unless the collector gets his money back. Or if other victims come forward, whether Markus's friend gets his money back or not.

Steve

As Mr. Walker has joined our community, have you been in touch with him in regards to our concerns about the product he offers for sale?

I haven't, Bob. I'm sure he's read it and I'm waiting to see if he joins the conversation.
