i dont like it,

I think it's real.

It looks like a "John Cash" and not a "Johnny"...? Never saw his autograph without the "y" before.
But who would forge that inscription...

These are at PSA Facts and might be of use in this discussion:

This example for "your friend" and parts of the "J" etc.:

This appears ao be a "John R. Cash" signature on a 1993 check:

Here are some more from RR:

Another few "John R Cash" signatures:

I think the OP might well be good seeing all of this. Those reticulated "J's and the formations of certain letters.

Based on examples posted here I think it's authentic.

From Wikipedia:

Larry Murray and Johnny Cash co-wrote the 1973 biographical musical film Gospel Road: A Story of Jesus. Produced by Cash and his wife, June Carter Cash, the movie was filmed on location in Israel and features Cash as the narrator with original music.

That explains the references in the inscription. It appears that they had a close working relationship over the years, which explains the neat handwriting and use of "John".

+1

Thank you all so much for your great examples and valuable insights! I really appreciate it!
