I think this is real. It sold in a 2004 Bonhams auction for about $4K including BP.

got back beckett sig review - they flunked it!

That looks good to me, too.  A very nice full signature.

From their vantage they made $10  in a few moments that is non-refundable. Does it even come of the cost of a full letter if you purchase one? A wise man just posted recently that these QO's are worthless. He was correct.

I agree but I have followed up for full cert on occasion. only once did they flunk a sig review when sent in for full letter (a Sinatra which I trust the seller more than them)

easier for beckett to just flunk it and collect $10

I don’t understand their signature review service. I submitted a really nice Ringo SP and it came back as “Unlikely to pass.”

Chas, Beckett wants it to be good. They charge $300 to authenticate and certify a John Lennon. They offer Signature Review hoping people will send it in for full authentication.

based on this thread, sounds like they blew their chance. I think that PSA stopped quick opinions didn't they? I just always think of my wife trying to unload this stuff some day.

It's best to plan for that.

Sold raw in 2004?

Yep. Here’s the Bonhams listing:
