Keith Richards signed 'Exclusive' 'Life' UK 1st edn. book

Calling on all Rolling Stones experts...
I have recently purchased a signed 'Exclusive' copy of Keith Richards 2010 best selling book 'Life' First edn. UK version. I have no reason to believe it to be anything other than authentic, based on examples I have seen, but I would appreciate input from Rolling Stones experts and the wider collecting community (and hopefully confirmation that it's an authentic 'Keef' and not an autopen or copy).

Thank you to all in advance.

I have a feeling that the exclusive signed copies had and extra page put into the book and were autopen signatures ( hope I'm wrong) there are others on this site very familiar with this book and I'm sure will confirm or dismiss this... search this site for info on this book, there was a big discussion on it

I might be wrong, but this looks like an autopen to me
Sorry, doesn't look real to me.

here is a kieth from 1985 for comparison  3;14 into video

And here my hand-signed copy of the same book:

I agree with what Ian has said about autopen and the dotted ends.  From what I remember reading there were some very annoyed customers who ordered a signed copy from the official website only to discover they were autopen signatures.  You have to assume Keith signed-off on this (no pun intended).

It looks like an autopen to me too. I've seen other autopen signed copies of the "Exclusive Signed Edition", but hadn't seen this particular signature.

Top of the K bottom of the R, the end all do have the dotted ends like autopens have. It doesn't look too good.

Firstly, I appreciate the input from each and every one of you knowledgable collectors, so thanks for your input and concerns.

This book is the 'Exclusive' edition, and I assume the page was added by the publisher for Waterstones (it is not glued to the back of any pages, but rather, I'd assume, inserted by the publisher), and that 300 of these UK editions exist, with a further 150 signed by Keith in store (please correct me if wrong). I take onboard all your helpful comments, and the suggestion of the dots at the beginning and end being common traits of an autopen.

Just throwing it out there, playing devil's advocate if you will... if it were an autopen, wouldn't all 300 'Exclusive' signatures be identical? This signature style is close, but slightly different, than other alleged autopens out there, and there is an imperfection in the loop on the 'd' at the end. Of course, he could have several autopen styles and change between them... but isn't this a bit far fetched for a run of 300 books?

In my experience, autographed books (particularly those by the author for limited releases or at signings) tend to be more 'fuller' and considered than what you'd get on the street.

The debate, it would seem, centres not on whether these books are forged, but that Keith Richards himself authorised the use of an autopen on his own signed book for the Exclusive edition! How realistic is this assertion?

I certainly welcome any further commentary from you all - particularly those who are expert in Keith Richards' signature styles.

Again, thank you for your very helpful advice, it is much appreciated.

I haven't done a tremendous amount of research into this issue. That said, before today I was aware of two different autopen matrices that were used for the "Exclusive Signed Edition." One copy containing an autopen signature was presented along with a receipt from Waterstones. I'm not sure how many copies of the "Exclusive Edition" were issued, but I saw one that was numbered in an edition of 100.

This is definitely auto penned.
and this one ladies and gentlemen?
Again, a big thanks to you, Mike, and everyone else who has contributed. Much appreciated.
