Haven't been here in awhile, but I was inspired to by the passing of a beloved actor Leonard Nimoy.  I wasn't able to get out to his book signing tour for "I am Spock" back in the 90's, but around 2001 I purchased a signed copy from a Trek forum member who was a reputable member.  He lived I think in Texas, because the book was signed at a Taylor's bookstore.  Don't even know if that's still in business?  At the time, I was looking for a hardcover at first just to read it, but he wasn't asking that much signed (on some kind of paste on), $60-70 at the time I recall.  Anyway, I've had it on the shelf ever since, and though the signature looks spot on, I just was wondering...I scanned it too.

As for Mr. Earnhardt, I figured why bother making two posts.  This is a signed card I got off Ebay not long ago.  Not the best "Sharpie" marking in the world, but it was pretty cheap.

Thanks all!

Can I get any help here on the Nimoy book?  To me the signature looks spot on, but I'm always leery on bookplates for fear of autopens.  A fellow collector offered me an extra Nimoy piece at a good price, before he puts it on ebay.  So I really want to know if this book is genuine, so I don't have to keep him waiting any longer!  Thanks.
