Jason H  Lumpy THE Z flow? yep that definitely screams of being off.

the "broken" out of line  L that then reattaches? yep, that doesn't look good.

Eric Keith Longo "Multiple templates and placements, the occasional "bump" here and there."

Exactly Eric, I had written right away on the forum about multiple templates being used.

And you had said a "bump", I can't quite explain it ... but I had said to Matt that it's almost like when you'd listen to a vinyl record and "bump" the turntable accidentally, the needle would jump, perhaps skip, but then resettle back into a groove, and the song would continue.

We are all onto something here.

I wanted to post this last night but fell asleep while holding my phone haha too tired.. I am stuck only using a phone for a few days but did my best to show what needs more research

There are equally spaced (invisible ) horizontal lines affecting this signatures flow. I did my best to highlight with red lines. They seem to be equal distances apart. Fault of a machine but if an autopen, how could the ink flow be shifted instantly like it is?

Lumpy, for the 2nd picture with the arrows, if you can, would it be possible to take a new high quality closeup of these areas? I want to know if what I'm seeing is digital distortion or actually part of the signature?

Yes, I’ll see what I can do.

Let me know if this doesn't work Jason. I'll try again.

Ah, it must have been distortion. Not what I thought. Oh well.

Thanks for helping out though. One last thing if you could. Would you be able to take a closeup of one of the areas of the "shifts" like this section?

Shifts

Am I crazy or are they gone? Could it have been an initial glitch within the camera software?

I thought the same when taking these.Where's the shifts?

is there a special programme you are using please for the overlay?

I'm just using the rough editing software built into my phone to draw lines

I learned that you can use the Shortcuts app on an iPhone to overlay photos from your library. It’s a multi step process to set up and a bit tedious, but it’s quite easy to use once you get the shortcut running.

I used ChatGPT to walk me through the setup process, but there are instructions available online and some instructional videos.

I’m still working on some additional overlays, finding multiple points of overlay on a couple recent ones, but just takes time to put it together. I encourage anyone to try it that may want to learn how to do it.

Michelle I was confused thinking it was a reply to me. Thought you were trying something on your end and wondering what the distortion was caused by, or if the shifting is somehow secondary to a program error. I'll let you see this comment and then delete later as it is not relevant
