Is there something not quite right about these?

I agree -- something is off here. Maybe sigs copied or cut and paste photoshop job?  Seller mostly sells soccer stuff so why would he sell an authentic set for lower than market value?

Also agree there is something not right about these signatures. Frank’s LOA indicates signed in blue ink and this set looks to be signed in black ink?

The ink looks very odd, if that is ink. The image on the cert is blue ink and this appears black, but also shows no trace of the toning areas and spot apparently on the item offered. Hard to see/say, but there also appears to be a small spot of blue ink by the trail off of McCartney in the cert image that is not on the item offered. Something strange here.

My suspicion is these are likely facsimiles of some sort, transferred using a heat source process, similar to the methods used for putting pictures, logos, signatures, etc., on coffee mugs, buttons, banners, pen barrels and other souvenir items. The paper on the signatures has browning, indicating contact with some kind of heat source, probably during the transfer. And, as those signatures are completely 'ink-filled' (no rushed, pen skipping), this set is perfect for some high and low tech exploitation.

Whatever methods used, I'm certain that while they are sourced from original signatures, this particular set is not genuine.

Yes, an odd halo that really shows in Photoshop. I wss reminded of those McCartney pickplates. It looked a bit like that and there was talk of the same tech there IIRC.

Hopefully they won't sell. Would hate to see someone lose so much cash on these.

I’ve spoken with Frank with regards to this letter, he says he never wrote it....not surprising !

Bogus autographs...bogus Caiazzo COA....

Here's the image:

Here's the fake LOA:

The LOA is remarkably good.

Thanks for the replies guys, I must be getting better!
