I picked this up about 10 years ago and after looking at a post on here, I now feel that this isn't a legit Mantle signature. Can some of the Mantle experts give me their opinion?

Thanks!

Not authentic in my opinion.  Bad forgery

Common fake style. Sorry.
Not authentic unfortunately

Totally fake, dude. Sorry.

Thank you, I appreciate everyone's input on it. At least now I know so I can shred it.

join the club, BC. we have all shredded our share.

How does this ball look? I got it as a gift about 1 week before his death. It has a UDA Cert, but I just want to make sure. Unfortunately, the color of the ball isn't as white as it was when it was new.

Authentic

Some parts seem off to me, looking at it more, it can be a sloppy authentic example, but I don't like it. Definitely not something I'd add to my collection.

authentic

Authentic.

Your photo is an early machine-signed forgery. Probably printed on an inkjet printer photo, which didn't exist when Mantle was alive. Look at the edges of the photo under magnification, or scan in high resolution, and if there are margins you'll probably see the photo end in lots of tiny dots instead of smoothly like lab photos are printed.

Sorry for the bad news.
