Not great with vintage autographs and I have no clue about the following Mantle. I know most of his early autographs were clubhouse autographs. The Maris to me does look good though, I know it's a very poor view but the formation looks good. The other more modern Mantle autographs all look good to me as well.

Hopefully my "eye" has improved haha.

I would say clubhouse on the ball.  I do not know about Maris.  As for all the other Mantles I really like 1 and 2.  I think all are good as well Mike.

Thanks Erich! I don't know much about early Mantle signatures, but I would assume that at least some characteristics of his signature would be present in comparison to what is now his "signature" signature. I just don't see any similarities so thats why I think there's a good chance that signature is clubhouse as well.

the mantle is clubhouse, the maris is authentic. HIs signatures from the sixties are very similar to his later in life style.

Here is an authentic Mantle on a 1961 team ball

Terrier is correct, I've seen that ball before, it is a Clubhouse. His 60's sig looked like his modern, except the "loops" pointed a little more South!

All others are authentic IMO.

Check out the difference in just a few years, pretty cool to see it evolve:

1959

1962

Here is an AUTHENTIC 1962 team ball:

It is pretty cool how in a span of a few years he used a few variations but then he solidified one signature and used it. Shows why the vintage ones are so much more valuable as well :P
Thanks guys, the ball sold for $255. Still a great deal I think, kinda second guessing myself now that I didnt buy it haha.
