Meeting Mr Buzz Aldrin!

Met Mr Aldrin while vacationing in the LA area. I was able to shake his hand. A great experience! I toured the Endeavor Space Shuttle earlier in the day, so a wonderful day.

You got a smile from Buzz?!?!? You are indeed lucky. LOL

He's usually too busy looking at his iPhone to look up. Numerous reports from SpaceFest that Buzz was dismissive of attendees... can you imagine paying a $600 base fee for a signature and he ignores you?

Actually, all I was ignored. My wife was with me and took a photo of when I asked to shake his hand. He obliged but the photo is of him checking his watch while he shook my hand. Never looked at me. However, my wife went next and he stopped and posed for several photos and gave her a great smile. A man straight out of the "good ol days!".

Either way, was an incredible experience.
