svern_us2015 must be following this conversation because now all the latest auctions no longer are on that beautiful matted down 1970's carpeting.

Its not your carpeting that gives you away. Its the autograph.

The checks were actually sold at Gotta Have Rock N Roll earlier this year and were part of Jackson family items that were in a storage warehouse years ago that the rent wasn't paid on. These checks already had signatures as everyone can see. MJ didn't need to sign them. I can see these paying out for svern_us2015 for a long time as the boxes were loaded with documents and contracts for the entire Jackson Family (MINUS MJ!) The docs that had MJ on them sold long before he died. The boxes for these items went for peanuts. Who knew someone would do this to them to make a buck.
